Hi,
yesterday evening David was live on SternTV.
I was there in the studio, sitting in the first row.
I’ve never been in a TV studio before, so
it was very exciting for me.
David’s appearance began with an interview
in his parent’s home with him and his mother. They talked about his childhood
and that it was very difficult for him to have his father, teacher and manager
in one person. Whenever there were any problems he had no one to talk to,
because his parents were involved so much in his earlier career. David was
already in the studio when the interview was shown on TV, he and we saw the
interview as well on a big screen behind him. Seeing his own interview he
sometimes seems to be amused, sometimes thoughtful. After this interview he
played live the track “Thunderstruck – AC/DC” from his new incoming album “Encore”with
an electric violin. I’m sorry for, but I do prefer the oldfashioned
Stradivarius!
Afterwards there was an other interview
live in the studio together with a 9-year old german girl, who also began to
play the violin in the age of 4. They talked about the childhood in case of being
a music talent and how difficult it is to manage learning for school and
practising the violin a few hours every day.
After this interview David disappeared and
the show went on.
